An introduction to tennis for our youngest new players. Hand-eye coordination, basic movements, cooperation & games are used to teach basic skills. This class is designed to introduce tennis in a fun way to help kids establish a love for the game.
Ball Type:
Soft and super squishy, these red balls are larger and bounce slower, making them easier for kids to hit.
Racquet & Court Size:
Played with smaller racquets (19-23 inches) on a 36-foot court - about the size of a driveway.

This class helps little ones develop coordination and motor skills through fun partner activities like rolling, bouncing, and catching the ball. Kids will work together to practice simple tennis movements on a small 36-ft. court.

For kids who’ve got the basics down and are ready to level up! They’ll work on rallying (hitting the ball back and forth), keeping score, and moving around the court like little pros.
Ball Type:

Played with smaller racquets (19-23 inches) on a 36-foot court - about the size of a driveway.
*A player must have received at least a year of tennis instruction to be in Red Ball - Advanced. Coach approval is needed if you are switching from Red Ball - Beginner to Advanced.

Ball Type: A little firmer but still low-compression, these orange balls bounce at a slower speed to build confidence.
Racquet & Court Size: Played with racquets (23-25 inches) on a 60-foot court - similar to the size of a basketball court.

Perfect for kids who can rally and are ready for bigger challenges! They’ll practice hitting with more control, learn smart strategies, and play points on a mid-size court (60 ft.).

Racquet & Court Size: Played with racquets (23-25 inches) on a 60-foot court - similar to the size of a basketball court.

Ages 9-12
In our Jr. Gold classes, players will use the “green dot” ball, which is faster than the orange ball but still slower and lower bouncing than a standard ball. This helps players to continue to develop good technique while working on tennis point play strategies. Players will learn how to combine consistency and accuracy with shot selection.
Ball Type: A little firmer but still low-compression, these orange balls bounce at a slower speed to build confidence.
Racquet & Court Size: Played with racquets (23-25 inches) on a 78 foot regulation court.
*Required to have played tennis for multiple years. Players graduating from Orange Ball - Advanced (coach approval needed) should sign up for this class.
