As a USPTA certified Tennis instructor, Marco takes great pride in sharing his passion for the sport with players of all ages in the Washington DC community through ProsToYou Tennis, a company which he runs and operates.
His academic and professional experiences within the tennis industry have been diverse, focusing on both the actual coaching and the business side. Marco received a Kinesiology & Sports Marketing / Management BS at the University of Maryland, and an MA degree Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University. An extensive employment history allowed Marco to gain precious insights on the managerial and business areas of the industry. Previous experiences include working as the Program Manager at Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland and the Director of Business Development & Special Events for the Citi Open Tennis Tournament in Washington DC.
As a coach, Marco is passionate about interacting directly with tennis students and players: He has been a tennis coach at Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), Flint Hill School (Oakton, VA) and Chevy Chase Club (Chevy Chase, MD).
Ed Tripp is USPTA/PTR/PPA certified and joined our team with over 35 years of teaching experience here in the Washington DC area. Prior to coming to Montgomery TennisPlex, he was the Director of Tennis at Norbeck Country Club. Ed was also the Director of Tennis at the Westleigh Recreation Club in North Potomac, Director of Adult Tennis at the Bullis Tennis Training Center, and at Potomac Swim and Tennis Club. Tennis Magazine’s Advantage named Ed the Mid-Atlantic Unsung Hero Award in 2003 for his contribution to grassroots tennis programs.

Danny is a USPTA and PTR certified teaching professional with over twenty years of teaching experience. He spent the early part of his teaching career as a Junior Development Director before shifting his focus to adult teams and doubles play. Danny enjoyed success as Head Professional for Adults and Assistant Director at a number of clubs in the US before starting DC31 Tennis in 2020. He has been instrumental in coaching many ladies teams to success and advancement in their respective regional leagues. He is excited to join the Prep team to share his passion for inspiring players and expanding tennis in the area.

Throughout his career, Craig Anderson has focused on high performance tennis. Craig graduated from James Madison University and began coaching Katie Ruckert (WTA ranked 364) for ten years. At the same time, Craig worked with high performance junior players at Fairfax Racquet Club from 2004 to 2011. Craig was the Director at McLean Sport and Health from 2011 to 2017 and managed one of the most renowned junior programs in Virginia, producing three time NCAA champion Caroline Lampl along with many other college standouts. Craig also had the opportunity to train Maria Kirilenko during this time (WTA ranked 10). From 2017 to 2021, Craig continued to produce very promising young talent as the Junior Director at Hidden Creek Country Club. In 2021, Craig became Director of Supernationals at Skyline Sport and Health. Craig has a proven track record of propelling junior tennis players to achieve their college and/or professional tennis aspirations. It has been Craig’s hard work, consistency, and results that have allowed him to stand out as one of the top coaches in the country.

Diego is USPTA certified and began his tennis career at the age of 9, in San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina. As a junior player, he excelled in all age divisions, going on to accomplish a top ranking of 5 in Argentina, his home country. Throughout his career, he has played and competed against former top professionals including David Nalbandian and Guillermo Coria, both of whom achieved #3 world ranking. After his amateur playing career, Diego’s passion for the game propelled him to begin his own tennis academy in Argentina, and later in the U.S. With over 20 years of high-level playing and coaching experience, Diego continues to be committed to sharing the lifetime sport of tennis with as many students as he can, for all ages and levels.

As a junior tennis player, Zach Pine was ranked number one in the state of Virginia, 1st in the USTA Mid-Atlantic section, and 50th nationally. Zach also played 4 years of high school tennis for Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia, leading the Huskies to three state championships. During his high school run, he earned recognition as a two-time Virginia State Player of the Year, and as two-time Washington Post “All-Met” First Team honoree. Coach Zach would go on to graduate from Virginia Tech in 2012, where he played D1 tennis for 4 years, while working vigorously achieving an ITA team ranking of 16th in the nation. As a coach, Zach has 9 years of coaching experience with players of various different ages and skill levels, and is recognized as a USPTA certified Elite Professional. Zach is USPTA/PTR/PPA certified.

Raul has been at Georgetown Prep Tennis since 2003. He has a very decorated tennis background that culminated in a #1 ranking in El Salvador in 1996. He competed professionally in both Davis Cup and ATP Satellite tournaments. Raul was the captain of El Salvador's Fed Cup team and the captain for the country's National Junior Tennis Team. Here, he developed the Mid-Atlantic Junior Tennis Academy, instructs Georgetown Prep's varsity tennis team, and teaches adult and junior clinics while conducting private lessons for all ages and abilities. Certifications PTR, ITF.

Shelley DeLon is USPTA/PTR/PPA certified and a native Washingtonian. She grew up playing competitive tennis throughout her youth. Introduced to tennis as a toddler, training mainly at WTEF - West, her accomplishments include DCIAA girls’ singles titles, ATA National Junior singles as well as doubles champion, repeatedly ranked #1 in DC, and ranked as high as #3 in the Mid-Atlantic region. Shelley attended as well as graduated from the University of Virginia and pursued a career in Healthcare Finance. Shortly thereafter, her love for tennis returned and she began coaching various levels within the DMV, including assisting D1, Howard University Men's and Women's Tennis Team. Currently, Shelley serves as Tennis Director for Metropolitan Tennis & Education Group as well as a full-time tennis instructor at ProsToYou Tennis teaching high performance, adult league, intermediate, beginner, as well as tiny tot players. Within her 10+ years teaching career, Shelley coached JTT teams to local and sectional championships, ATA National Junior singles champions and doubles/singles finalists, NJTL Regional champions and finalists, as well as various USTA sanctioned tournament finalists and champion players. Coach Shelley teaches with enthusiasm as well as passion following a hustle, grind, and execution methodology.

Justin was a Division 1 Scholarship Player at North Carolina A&T. He specializes in developing and implementing Junior and Adult Club Programs as well as doubles strategies for all levels. Justin provides private, semi private, or 4 and A Pro Clinics.
Justin works with red green and orange ball all the way to high performance high school players. His focus is on technique, strategy and fitness to develop the complete player.
